In his words: The night after returning from a once in a lifetime soul journey into Bosnia in the Summer of 2006, I remember walking out onto a moonlit fishing dock in Croatia, peering up into the vast while intuitively hearing a voice echo, 'write write write...' At the time, I figured that the call meant for me to write a novel based on my pilgrimage in Bosnia, little did I know that it was just the beginning of an educational, spiritual & entrepreneurial voyage which would ultimately lead me back to the 'City of Angels' just in time to capture the early stages of the world's greatest (and much anticipated) Lovolution!!!
Upon returning from that trip to the Balkans, it became absolutely clear that I was going to begin consciously living my life IN and FROM my heart as well as to encourage those around me who wanted to do the same. 'Living from the heart?' I've both read and heard the mantra countless times, perhaps even experienced a glimpse or two throughout my life which could be described by it. But this time, something shifted in my being and/or in my perception of life. Looking back, the best way I can describe it is that I 'clicked into my heart.'
Growing up in LA, I realized the awesome potential 'Hollywood' had to inspire love, goodness and genuinity in the world. And without taking away from the countless successful efforts which met and further lifted the potential, I felt that a grand movement driven by true and genuine spirit, creativity & love has yet to be sen...and then it hit me!
hello it was nice talking to you today ! I hope we have a chance to talk again before i return to Seattle . Anyways it was nice to met you !

Dear Forrest,
To stumble upon this website is awesome! My name is Elliot, I'm 18-years-old (physically), and I am a born-and-raised Angeleno walking a path of Light, and your story and website truly inspire me! I wanted to share something extremely positive that I am involved in: http://teeninsightleadership.org/. Another project that I have started is the Carts for the Homeless project: www.cartsforthehomeless.org. I believe we need to take an active approach to assist those who are homeless now, and have been for many years!
I wanted to just reach out and say that I appreciate all that you're doing, and that Los Angeles rocks! Soon I will be going to UC Berkeley starting my undergrad education, and I look forward to expanding in consciousness and awareness.
Light&Love,
Elliot

Elliot,
Wow,wow,wow!!!
You must know that I live to be inspired and you TRULY INSPIRE ME!!!
I checked out your projects and I'm really really impressed. In my opinion, they are precisely the two most important realities in need of pro-action.
While you're still in town, let's grab breakfast or something and explore further.
P.s. Congratulations on being accepted to CAL, I think in many different ways, it's going to be just the place for your continued Way!
If you haven't already read Dan Millman's "Way of the Peaceful Warrior," this summer prior to attending CAL would be the perfect time brother;)
Keep spreading the LOVE around...

Forest and family.
Papa was a lucky man to be loved and cared for in a way that he gave love and cared for his own. Based on what I know of such Men he was one of few words but lived more so based on deeds and beliefs. The fact that you helped him in his final days speaks volumes of his influence on you and your Family. My heart goes out to you and yours during this transition. You will learn to, if you have not already, to continue your love of him in a different way and continue to share it with others.
With a caring heart I share your loss and know that as each day goes buy we are all a little stronger for knowing such a MAN.

Hi Forrest- Pinky here....you there. So much I wish I could be there for Papa Leon's memorial. I like you, felt I was in the presence of an angel when around this beautiful man and he was always an inspiration to me....without even trying! His presence will be missed...such is our ego....but his memory will always give me peace. We were lucky Forrest....real lucky. I had heard about your venture, bit by bit, but didn't quite know what it was all about. Bless your heart for stepping out of the norm....or should I say having the courage to follow that still voice that guides us. My heart is with you today and tomorrow....and always. We are different generations, hundreds of miles apart, virtually strangers, but have a common goal. I am grateful to be a teacher again to spread a message far beyond American Literature. The message of being love centered is so important....Please keep in touch
